During an extensive tour you will learn all about this special church, the only one in the Netherlands where you can walk around the tower inside the church!
In 1248 a parish church was built in the then blooming place of Amersfoort. In the 15th century, the church building was converted into a hall church, enclosing the church tower through the southern part of the church. In 1534, the church received the current form as a three-naved church. Inside the church there are a beautiful Gothic rood screen dating back to 1480 and a tomb monument for the architect Jacob van Campen. The main organ dates back to 1845 and is the largest Naberorgel that has been preserved.
