Limited possibility to climb the tower

The Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren dates from the end of the 15th century and is 98 meters high. This late medieval tower is the third tallest in the Netherlands.
During an ascent of about an hour, you will learn more about the history and legend of this tower. Climbing a large part of the 346 steps, up to the third turn, is rewarded with a breathtaking view of Amersfoort and the surrounding area. In clear weather you can even see the Dom Tower of Utrecht and the tall buildings in Amsterdam! The climb takes about an hour.

Due to the corona measures, there is a maximum number of six participants per guide.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance at the ticket shop. There may also be tickets for sale at the VVV. It is not possible to pay cash with the guide.
Due to corona, only a limited number of guides are currently available.
Until further notice, the climbs are offered on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, starting at 2:00 PM.
We apply the guidelines set by RIVM and the government.

The guide informs whether the participants have Corona related complaints. You can only participate if this is not the case. If you have these complaints, we advise you to go home. You will then be refunded the cost of your ticket.
